We had a great turn out for Night Out Against Crime held August 5th.  Everyone enjoyed the K9 demonstration, food, and door prizes.  We would like to thank the Pittsboro Fire Department for providing us with a location.  Other participants include:  The Hendricks County Prosecutor's Office, B.A.D.D. (Bruins Against Drinking and Drugs), the Indiana State Police, and supporters for Olympian Bridget Sloan.  Citizens received information on DUI, staying drug free, neighborhood crime watch programs, and seatbelts.  We fingerprinted several children and passed out bicycle helmets.  Thanks to all who attended and for showing your support to the Pittsboro Police Department.
